Saint Luke Food Pantry
The FWOC team aided the Saint Luke Food Pantry for a busy morning of volunteer work. Our staff aided in packing food boxes for needed community members.






National Night Out in Columbus
FWOC team set up at National Night Out in Columbus. We set up a tent and distributed information on healthy relationships and violence prevention.




Okolona Elementary School Healthy Relationship Graduation
FWOC staff graduated the 5th grade class at Okolona Elementary School on their health and healthy relationship curriculum.

The violence prevention team joined the housing authority in Columbus for their monthly Bingo night!

March 31 & April 1:
Anti-Violence at
Sales Elementary
Our Violence Prevention team taught anti-bullying lessons at Sales Elementary in Columbus, MS. Mr. Quentin Harris and Mr. Venson Richey read a book representing bullying, taught the children ways to recognize bullying and how to respond, led a creative activity, and coached them through breathing techniques.






March 8, 2025:
FEED THE RED & BLUE
The FWOC team partnered with Hardees (1460 Old Aberdeen Rd.) in Columbus, MS to host an event for the first responders and community members in the Lowndes County area. Hardees donated free breakfast to the first responders, while local businesses donated to the community raffle. Thank you to everyone that donated and supported this event! We had a blast!






"Kiss The Pig" Reading Event
Mr. Dismukes and Columbus Schools gave us the opportunity to read and spend time with the students of Columbus Municipal.

Reality Fair at the Alternative School
Our team, along with other generous volunteers, taught young adults how to budget their finances.

Motivational Mondays
Mondays at the alternative school, speakers discuss their previous and current way of life to the students.

Community Partnerships
Our program assisted in offering packed lunches for adolescents in Child Protective Services.

One of our team members joined a lecture with Deuce McAllister regarding youth mental health and drug abuse.
